A reception to celebrate the launch of the exhibition was held at the Scottish Parliament on 14 March.

A short video of the exhibition is available online:

The event was opened by Maree Todd MSP and Consul General Dariusz Adler.

The stories on the panels were written by the children or grandchildren of men and women who served their country during the Second World War.

These stories reflect the changed lives, aims and aspirations of those who survived the war and made a new life in their adopted country of Scotland.

Few now survive, but none are forgotten.
